Hi,
I bought a house in 2015 and the screen door on the patio door was missing. I found it later in the shed. I recently found that the bottom track on the screen door is broken.
I tried at Ace Hardware, Lowe's and Home Depot to find a replacement but they couldn't help. One of the sales people at Home Depot told me that the door track looked like one from an andersen door.
The track is 5/8 inch wide (outer width), 5/8 inch high, and 57 3/8 inches long. Do you have a replacement track. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Keith
My bottom tracks are all 1/4" high x 3/4" wide so you would need a 3/8" shim underneath the track to use with your existing door. If the top track is removeable you could also put the shim at the top.
You might find 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/8" aluminum angle at a company called Metals Supermarket. They would sell you a short piece, normally most companies would only sell this in standard 15 to 20 foot lengths.
5/8" x 5/8" is an odd size for an aluminum angle, not easy to find, most likely custom made for Andersen.
