Sliding screen door now closes with a gap

I took my patio sliding screen door off to get a new screen installed. He also put on screen guard to save it from our new puppy. When I got it back, when I close it, there's a huge gap at the bottom. I removed the screws from the guard on one side, but that didn't seem to do anything. What's the most likely cause and what can I do to fix it?

Fixing gaps so screen door closes properly
by: Adrian

The first thing I would try is to adjust the two bottom rollers.

There should be screws on both sides at the bottom of the door to adjust the door up and down

Try raising the side closest to the door jamb and lowering the opposite side just a tiny bit.

The person doing the repair should check the rollers before rescreening because they are often broken.

Usually the frame has to come apart to change the rollers

Hopefully they are not broken and its just that the height needs to be adjusted
