Screen for outswing french doors

by Sandi

Hi, I have outswing french doors in a bedroom. I need a screen solution and I would prefer to not use retractable screen doors. I am thinking of installing top, bottom and side jamb tracks on the inside of the door (inside room) and using a sliding door that covers the door that opens with a handle. I have found the tracks, just need a wide bug sweep. Has anyone done this and have any tips?
thanks,
Sandi

My biggest concern...

Thanks Adrian. My biggest concern is how a sliding screen on the inside will look. I could hate it but I won't know until I've seen it. Have you ever heard of people doing this?

Hi Sandi

Looks like the interior casing gives you a nice place to locate the top track.

I have wide black vinyl bugstrips to fit my doors and they do work with of other screen doors

just need to sime pictures of the door you want to use them on and some dimensions to make sure that they fit
