Screen cloth blows out with high winds

Hello,

About 3 years ago we had a screen room built using extruded aluminum framing. This framing is extruded with a channel that measure 0.139" x 0.210" This is what I have to work with for the length of each channel. The solar screen material I am using measures 0.028" in thickness. Times 2 for 2 sides gives me 0.056" Can you advise on what size and type of spline I can use for an area that has frequent high winds? What I have now keeps blowing out with every high wind. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

If I understand this correctly you have a single spline channel holding in screen cloth on both sides.

Not sure any spline exists that would work under those circumstances.

I would roll in the existing size of spline and then screw an aluminum sheet metal strip over the entire channel and overlap the screen cloth for the entire length of the channel.

That should give the cloth maximum support against winds. Hopefully the winds would not be strong enough to rip the cloth and the install would last
