Flat black spline, similar to Sue Lynns'

Good Day,
I'm trying to replace the screening to a metal frame and I'm having difficulty finding the flat black stiff spline.
I need about 10 ft. I tried to use the old spline but it didn't work.
Or should I just bring it to a screen repair shop?

Looks like they have used a piece of vinyl doorsweep weatherstrip to me but its tough to tell.

I appreciate the trouble you have already gone to but any chance you can take one more picture of the end of the weatherstrip against a light background so i can see its shape ?
