Fixing Top hung patio screen doors.

Every post (100's) I have read in the past three days on how to fix/adust patio screen doors always address the top roller adjustment and the bottom roller adjustment. Guess what! My patio screen door doesn't have any lower rollers.

There appears to be an extruded plastic bottom strip with a flexible weather shield attached. It appears that the bottom strips snaps over the bottom track, the upper rollers adjusted for the door to operate smoothly.

My problem is that the lower plastic runner has been knocked off of the lower guide rail, and I haven't a clue how to get it back on and adjust the door. Brute force doesn't work. Has anyone ever run into this type of arrangement before? Door is approximately 5 - 6 years old, purchased in the Ann Arbor, Michigan Area.

My screen door only has 2 fixed wheels at top.
Bottom: no wheels, just plastic trap.
Six screws at top hold it all on.

There are lots of different top hung screen door designs. Some have rollers on the bottom, others have nylon glides.

Any chance you can post pictures ? If you cant do it here, send them to the email address on bottom of the home page of fixingscreen.com
