double sliding screen doors

I have a double sliding glass door (approx. 12 ft) with sliding screens. I keep running into the problem of them not staying in the center and not really making them serve the purpose of keeping bugs out without constantly having to adjust them. Is there a stop that I can put in the middle of them to make sure they don't pull past center?

Double screen doors wont stay in center

Hi Brian;

With double screen doors that meet in the middle you use an astragal mounted on one door so that when closed one door fits into the other.

To keep them together you can mount a lock on the inside.

At the opposite end of the screen door there should be bugstrips that butt up against the fixed patio door panels.

The prevent the screens from going past center and they also seal the back side of the screen door against bugs.
