I have an aluminum "screen door" with 2 adjustable glass and 1 screen panel. The side strips and then the top strip has fallen loose. For safety I had to remove the upper glass panel. I can't get the strips to stay in place.

Im assuming this strips are PVC plastic and are supposed to snap in place. If they no longer snap in I would make small aluminum right angle brackets. Drill holes in the inside frame all around the top window.
Then the angle brackets could be used to hold the top window in. Only thing to watch is that there is enough room to lift the moveable glass past the brackets mounted on the sides.
